What’s New on Zephop – December 2017

Hello from the editor’s desk. We hope you have all been good and are looking forward to some downtime and relaxation at the end of the year. We also hope you are planning to have lots of good food, because we definitely will. Here at Zephop, we are rounding up 2017 and putting together our plans for 2018.

2017 was a great year for us. Not only did we see a huge growth in operations month-on-month, but we also had the pleasure of inviting a few standout interns to work with us. Most of this blog was taken over by our Marketing Intern, who injected her own voice and enthusiasm into the round-ups of our self-professed love for food. One of our co-founders got married to his long-term partner (yay!) and another is engaged!

We executed many plans that we had on our to-do list and trialled many initiatives. Unlike last year, this year all our marketing collateral remained largely the same and as a brand, we felt we had found our look and voice. Like most things in life, we have had a few downs too. Some of our progress hasn’t quite been what we’d like it to be. And some of our schemes have failed – but every day, we learn, we teach, and we go. We’ve made some changes to the way we work and we have also edited some of our plans to make sure they fit our goals. At Zephop, we have always believed that if you are not swamped with work and stretched to the limits, something is wrong. And so far, it has been SO good!

So, for 2018, we will continue to do the things we have done well this year, and keep coming up with new ideas, initiatives, and hare-brained schemes. Because, if we don’t stir the pot, who will? Best wishes to all and your family and friends over the festive period. See you next year!

Spotlight – Customer Retention

This month, from the resident blogger’s desk, we thought we’ll talk about some of our experiences on a much talked about industry metric – that of Customer Retention. Here is breaking down the term and bringing its meaning to life.

Customer Retention is easily a top priority for many companies aiming to be the best at what they do. It encompasses all the activities and actions companies take to increase and grow the number of customers that use and love the brand. According to many top companies in the business sphere today, here are some go-to strategies.

If you’ve ever watched Simon Sinek’s TED talk “Start with Why”, you would understand the importance of having a mission. This brings us to one of the strategies – Start with a Mission. It’s important to have a clear – cut aim and goal, this helps build a brand that in turn inspires loyalty and retention.

Be the expert – is an easy way to remember to always be the best and bring your A-game. By always staying on top and remembering to always be the best version of yourself, as a company, can easily help you to earn a level of loyalty that can not only set a statement for the company, but also shape the company in a completely new way.

Go above and beyond. Going that extra kilometre for your customers is the key to a great customer-company relationship. Adding a personalised touch, making customers feel valued and important are all ways to go beyond the regular. Fly, drive, and swim with them – if that’s what it takes.

Apple, a brand everybody knows says – ‘Create a divide between you and your competitors’.  Sticking true to who you are as a company, can really show brand integrity and hence attracts customers. Show your audience that you’re far different from the rest of the herd. Make yourself heard, and be ready for a pool of happy customers!

Win your customers over with the strategies mentioned above. Treat every complaint as a gift. Tweak your company to be better than it was yesterday. Every single day counts! Make your customers happy, right here, right now.

What’s New on Zephop – March 2017

This month, on #InternationalWomensDay, we partnered with a few selected businesses to run a day long flash sale. On 8th March only, we offered double points to all our customers on Zephop. This was the the first time we had run an offer like this and we were very happy with the results.

A lot of customers gave us very good feedback on our promotional offer and we got some great customer and business engagement. So if you got double points on Women’s Day, why not click on the email to add them to your Zephop account? This way, you can redeem them for free rewards next time. What’s not to like?

Remember to add your phone number to your account when you sign up. It helps us keep your accountmore secure and also makes it super convenient to use Zephop on your mobile. Used it and loved us? Let us know by commenting her or on any of our social media channels.
